Red Dragon Fruit Smoothie!! Check out that color… simply gorgeous if you ask me. This is one amazing nutrient dense smoothie action packed with healthy fats, protein and carbs/fiber.
Dragon fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, loaded with fiber and lots of gut health benefits.
Not as sweet as I expected and some say it has a combo taste of kiwi and pear. Supposedly, the white dragon fruit is sweeter than the red. I will have to try that one out next.
To boost the sweetness banana and blueberries were added. See full recipe below.Print
Dragon Fruit Smoothie
- 1 cup dragon fruit
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup blueberries
- 1 cup spinach
- 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
- 1 tbsp hemp seeds
- 1 tbsp sunflower butter
- 1 scoop collagen powder
- 1.5 cup water
- Ice (optional)
- Add all ingredients in blender and blend on high for one minute.
- Top off with toppings of choice.
