Chicken Tenders!! BBQ chicken tenders at that. This recipe is going to be a weekly rotation in our house.
I always forget how easy they are to make. It seems labor intensive having to set up the egg batter & bread crumb station but then last night I was reminded how quick and quick it was.
Here is what I did
▪️dip chicken tenders in an egg batter with salt & pepper
▪️then dip into a bread crumb of choice.
▪️place on baking sheet with a wire rack
▪️roast at 400F, for 20 minutes
▪️remove from oven, brush bbq sauce of choice or homemade on top
▪️pop back in the oven for five minutes.
That’s it, so simple….right?!
Serve the chicken tenders with bbq sauce for dipping and a salad.
Quinoa salad included the following: quinoa, mixed greens, mixed beans (pinto, red kidney, garbanzo), tomatoes, red bell pepper, radishes, cucumbers, feta cheese, salt, pepper and fresh lemon juice.
