Super Green “Reset” Juice Blend

I kicked off 2018 on a fresh start by doing a three day detox and creating this juice blend for breakfast.  It was time for a reset on my overall health and wellness and this was the first step. 

Even though I finished the three day reset I still include the juice blend in my daily routine. 

Getting a good start to my morning with this juice has set the tone for my overall day.  It’s more than a reset, but also a body detoxifying blend that helps clear toxins by cleansing your blood, liver, digestive system and kidneys. 

 I have also noticed more Energy and an overall Balance

The blend is extremely refreshing and tasty, thanks to the bit of apple for sweetness, ginger for that spicy bite and sour sweet from the lemon. 

Each ingredient is a Star and provides so many valuable benefits such as anti-inflammatory, aid in digestion, powerful antioxidants, and abundant amount of vitamins & minerals. 

  • Baby Kale
  • Spinach
  • Avocado
  • Apple
  • Cucumber
  • Juice of Lemon
  • Ground Flax or Chia Seed
  • Ginger
  • Cold Water

Add all the ingredients into the blender.  

Blend for 2-3 minutes to really breakdown the kale and spinach.  

Top it off with a few ground flax or chia seeds.

Recipe makes a pretty decent serving size.  Keeps me full for at least 3-4 hours.

You can also split into two servings if the amount is too much for you first thing in the morning.

Drink the second serving an hour or two later.

A perfect On the Go meal too!

Super Green “Reset” Juice Blend


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 handful Baby Kale
  • 1 handful spinach
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/2 apple, peeled
  • 1/2 cucumber, peeled
  • 1/2 juice of lemon
  • 2 tbsp ground flax or chia seed
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 1/2 cup cold water (may need to add more depending on your preference for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in a blender and blend for 2-3 minutes.
