Dragon Fruit Smoothie

Red Dragon Fruit Smoothie!! Check out that color… simply gorgeous if you ask me. This is one amazing nutrient dense smoothie action packed with healthy fats, protein and carbs/fiber.

Dragon fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, loaded with fiber and lots of gut health benefits.

Not as sweet as I expected and some say it has a combo taste of kiwi and pear. Supposedly, the white dragon fruit is sweeter than the red. I will have to try that one out next.

To boost the sweetness banana and blueberries were added. See full recipe below.

Dragon Fruit Smoothie


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dragon fruit
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup spinach
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds 
  • 1 tbsp sunflower butter
  • 1 scoop collagen powder
  • 1.5 cup water
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients in blender and blend on high for one minute.
  2. Top off with toppings of choice.
